We would like to inform you that our own Water Patrol Squad for Bulshoekdam has been put in place. A training course to become an Authorised Peace Officer for Inland Waters was attended and the relevant examination was successfully completed by the following people.

Keith Merrington will head up the group. They also now become a subcommittee of the OEVB.
They have been issued with official ID cards and are affiliated to the South African Police Services as a Reservist and
work under the jurisdiction of the West Coast District Municipality.
They will enforce the regulations of the Department of Water Affairs
and Forestry { DWAF } Government Notice R654.
